- Pyrolysis converts biomass into liquid fuel and biochar. Biochar is a stable from of carbon that can be added to soils to improve their productivity and reduce atmospheric carbon. The JOBS Project of WV is taking an integrative approach to sustainable energy and jobs in the Appalachian coalfields, including solar and pyrolisis energy systems.

Connection to the earth and to people is an essential form of nutrition. This participatory workshop will explore the healing effects of systematic, culturally facilitated exposure to nature.
- Usually by the time we are finishing our college degrees and figuring out our next steps we start are asking ourselves, “What is my purpose? What do I want to do with my life?” This workshop will provide you with tools to take an inventory of yourself, your passions and your skills and translate those qualities in to tools to help identify and pursue your career as a young professional. This workshop will challenge you to take those questions a step further and ask yourself, “Why am I here and how do I get paid to do it?”
